We are incredibly proud to share that The Ingham Swan Restaurant with Rooms has been awarded a 5-Star Silver AA rating for our accommodation, alongside the continued recognition of 3 AA Rosettes for culinary excellence in our restaurant.

AA ratings remain one of the most respected benchmarks in UK hospitality, built on decades of anonymous inspections and expert assessment. Inspectors evaluate everything from service and hospitality to cleanliness, maintenance, and the overall guest experience when awarding star ratings.

Achieving a 5-Star Silver rating for our Rooms reflects an exceptional level of quality across every touchpoint — from the comfort and design of our rooms to the warmth and precision of service throughout your stay.

For us, this recognition is not just about luxury — it’s about consistency, care, and creating an experience that feels considered from arrival to departure.

Retaining 3 AA Rosettes for Culinary Excellence

Alongside this milestone for our rooms, we are equally proud to have retained 3 AA Rosettes — a mark of sustained excellence in the kitchen.

The AA Rosette scheme, first introduced in 1956, is one of the UK’s longest-standing measures of culinary achievement, with awards given following detailed inspections focused purely on the quality of cooking.

Restaurants awarded multiple rosettes are recognised for their technical skill, consistency, and the ability to deliver a truly standout dining experience. At the three-rosette level, this places a restaurant among those achieving national recognition for outstanding cooking and execution.

To retain this standard year after year is something we take immense pride in — a reflection of the dedication, creativity, and discipline of our entire kitchen team.
